Jekyll Island has unspoiled beaches and forests teaming with wildlife.  Take a walking tour into the forest, beach, or in the tidal marsh and see a living ecosystem that is both fragile and beautiful. 
Guided walking tours are available through the Tidelands Nature Center on Jekyll Island.  The tours are 1.5-2 hours long and will give you a greater appreciation for the ecosystem on Jekyll Island. 
Segway nature tours are also available.  You can ride a Segway and see the sights pointed out by an experienced guide.
