Boating at Jekyll Island

PDF Print E-mail

Bring your boat along with you to Jekyll Island.  In December 2008, the Georgia DNR renovated the Jekyll Island boat ramp that features 3 launch lanes that are 130 feet long making it possible to launch and retrieve boats at all tide stages.  Take your boat on the Intercoastal Waterway or into the Atlantic Ocean.  Dock your boat at the Jekyll Island Harbor Marina and get your fuel and snacks.

Be sure to read up on the Georgia Boating restrictions and wear your PFD.

Directions to the Jekyll Island Boat Ramp
Take Exit 29 north on U.S. HWY 17 for 5.0 miles to the Jekyll Island Causeway (GA HWY 50). Turn right 6.5 miles to River View Drive. Turn right 0.6 miles to Water Ski Park sign. Turn right 0.5 miles on dirt road to ramp.
